This is the story of Mike Ridley and the experiences he encounters in less than one year's period of time, from the fall of 1979 to the summer of 1980---some strange, some surreal, some more terrifying than any soul could ever imagine, including the culmination of his ten-year-long descent into the clutches of madness.
About the Author
Rick Ryan has been an award-winning lyricist, poet and author for more than four decades. As a lyricist, he's co-written dozens of songs for various recording artists, including the song "Shadowland," which was featured on Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young's first reunion album, "American Dream," certified platinum in 1989. He's published a book of poetry, "BORDERLANDS--Dark Visions of a Dark Age" and a novel, "Nuthouse," loosely based on his work at the Arizona State Mental Hospital when he was eighteen.This is his second novel.
