Venture Capital & SME Financing
About the Book
The purpose of the book is threefold.
First, to provide policy planners involved in the development of domestic SME sectors with a body of information to enable them to assess the applicability of venture capital financing for the domestic space and how the traditional model may be modified.
Secondly, where considered a feasible option, to provide business persons and their advisers with a thorough understanding of the process of venture capital financing and its interface with business enterprises. The role which factoring could play is also considered.
Thirdly, the book is aimed at business colleges and schools of entrepreneurship as it provides an in-depth analysis of the environment and structures necessary to spawn a vibrant SME sector, the venture capital process, and offers an extensive appendix of templates to give both student and practitioner a thorough understanding and working knowledge of venture capital financing.
